To return a rich text representation of any value
With this function, you can display text that contains HTML tags. You can use all basic HTML tags for display, but also tables, lists, and inline styles.
The result can be displayed in a formula field, for example, or be used together with sendEmail().
In a normal text field, any HTML tags will not be interpreted but simply displayed as text.
In a Rich text field, the text will be formatted according to the HTML tags.
❗WARNING❗
Not only basic HTML can be executed but also CSS and JavaScript. Ninox cannot validate whether a provided passage of JavaScript is malicious or not before it is executed. Malicious scripts may extract sensitive data from the browser and provide it to third parties.
Ninox cannot be held liable for damages caused by malicious code injection.
- Always make sure that scripts provided as the input for html() are safe to execute
- Only execute third party scripts from trusted providers
- Never allow text fields that are editable by anyone to serve as the input for html()
