Calculated fields in modules
Share logic across modules by exposing computed fields that update automatically in target databases
Ninox supports sharing calculated fields in modules. This includes:
- Formula fields
- Dynamic choice fields
- Dynamic multiple choice fields
Calculated fields let module providers share logic—not just data—so calculations behave consistently across connected modules and target databases.
When a calculated field is exposed, it appears in external tables as a computed value and updates automatically when the underlying source data changes.
