General rights at database level

More general permissions in Ninox are assigned at the database level. These include:

  • Who can open the database?

  • Who can import, export, or print data?

  • Who can perform bulk data changes?

  • Who has access to the change history?

ℹ️ By default, everyone is allowed to perform these actions.

How to Do It

  1. In the relevant database, activate the Edit Mode at the top right 🔧
  2. In the Database Settings that appear at the top, select Security.
  3. Use the respective drop-down menu to specify who can perform which actions, and save your settings.

This is how you assign specific roles to actions in the database settings.
