Insert sub-table

All preparations are made – We are adding the sub-table.

We will now create the sub-table in which we will enter all the consumption items. The invoice will display the total amount at the end.

Here's how it works

  1. We open the editing mode in the Invoices table.
  2. Click on Sub-table at the bottom right. This will open the table settings of the sub-table. More on Quick Access in Editing Mode
  3. Name the table Invoice Items and optionally add an icon (see the box below).
  4. Add the following fields and save your work:

Unit Price Formula
Total Formula
to InvoiceNumber (short for "belongs to Invoice Number") Formula

✅ Tip: If you like, when naming the table Invoice Items (above), add a chain (N9) as an icon for better differentiation.
