Fleno Storage
Hi,
Yesterday I had used 2.6 GB of the 4 GB I have and without doing much today it appears as used 4.47 GB. Now I am having problems.
Does anyone know why this is?
How can I fix it?

Where does Ninox say is using the storage? The DB? or backups?
Here is my workspace info:
Recently, it was using almost 1GB in automated backups, so I just deleted all backups except for the most recent.

This is what I have

I can speak form good experience here.
It depends on what type of backups too. Although a backup might say 2.6GB. If you did a full back that also included FILES then this equates to 5.2GB plus your other bits - over the limit AND your screen report will not update to show - cos you have stopped!.
The storage bloats and can disappear quickly! Provided you still have access, remove any backups that link to your live DB that ref the files (as many as you dare). if you don't have access cos it keeps telling you storage is full and to upgrade for more room. Ignore it and contact support - ask them to put a temp plan in place for a day or so - so that you can remove older copies to bring the space back into line. Once done, you can do another back up (without files / history if need be).
Support should be okay with this as they did it for me last week without hessitation when I accidentally backup a DB with loads for images files and left that option ticked.
see email (you could contact Andrew !!!
Hi Mel,
Thanks for your E-mail.
It looks like a large backup is causing this issue, but I also see your database is at 2.5 GB. I have added a temporary licence for you to delete the backups and enable you to continue working.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
Andrew

In this moment, for exceeding storage issue, it is possible to do the following:
1. delete automated & manual backups - check tutorial here: https://forum.ninox.com/t/x2hwhq5/ninox-storage-deleting-manual-and-automated-backups
2. Go to 'History' and click on 'Clear history' - this will clear your history.
3. Go to 'Options' and click on 'Defragment database' - This will clear cache form the database.
4. Include more users on your subscription (Starter 1GB/user, Pro 2 GB/user)
5. Pass to an Enterprise subscription and start with 50 Gb on a Private Cloud with a dedicated server, more storage can be added upon request.
6. Save files externally and reach them with a URL - You could use platfroms such as Dropbox, google drive, one drive...

About four months ago, I had something similar happen with the usage overview page. It looks like there was a bug:
Good Afternoon Sotirios,
Thanks for the information.
I refreshed the usage overview, this aligns with what you are seeing. The other names are a UI bug, I have created a ticket with our development team to look into this. I don't see those empty databases in the back end, I will keep an eye on it, but I don't think it is something that will affect your work. However, we will ensure that we get it fixed, because it's confusing for everyone. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,

Hello,
Thank you all for your messages and help. This morning everything is fine.
I just have to delete my manual backups since my plan does not allow it.
Thanks again.
