I had once the same isues on my Ipad and then i turned 'smart punctuation' off in my keyboard settings and the problem was solved. Maybe there's a similar setting in mac?

Maybe you don't understand the term 'View'. You are working with different views in ONE table. Those tabs above are not other tables. It is normal you got less records in one view against another…
