Multiple Views on Same Dataset

Hi All

Apologies if this has been asked before - I'm a Ninox noob and still working my way around.

I'm building my first D Base and its coming along nicely.

I'm using a desktop Mac and while the layout is great on a 27inch screen,  I would like to display the same information in a layout more suited to an iPhone.

When I create a New View - any changes I make in the new mobile friendly layout are copied over to my Desktop layout - which tells me I'm missing something fundamental....

Any advice gratefully received.

    Are you talking about adjusting a form view to be more iPhone friendly?

    You can make a new tab that you can show only if you on an iPhone, but you can't have the same fields in two different tabs.

    The easiest way is to hide fields that you probably don't need to see in your iPhone view using the ninoxApp command.

    Or if you don't need to update data then you can have a new tab that has a set of formula fields that show data from fields that you want to show.

    Or you can create Pages that can be shown only on iPhone and have it get data that you want.

    All depends on what you want to accomplish on an iPhone.
