Copying field contents

Within Ninox, is there a way in which I can copy the contents of field defined in one table to another table?

    Hi Andee,

You can duplicate a complete table and then modify the copy.

If you are using the Ninox App for Mac there is already the possibility to import an table (and all missing fields) into an other table. That means you could duplicate the source table, delete all fields you do not want to copy into the other table and then use the data import option "Ninox" (only available in the Ninox Mac App). In the import options switch off all tables except the modified copy of the source table and choose the target table.

    copy fields

Ninox Mac app will import then all field definitions that not exist in the target table.

Please be aware the that the source database must be stored lokal (in the tab 'My databases').

    Kind regards, Jörg
