extracting the name of the field to print is not possible. But in the print layout you can type in the field name. You find examples in the invoice template.

When I try to print forms, they always print one per page even though several will fit on a page. I've not seen any settings for page breaks. Is there some way to print multiple records per page?

It can be great if we can duplicate the templates to have the same in all tables.
By example, I create a template "Offer" but I'd like to have same template in "Invoices" and change only the title "Offer" by "Invoice".
Also, another great function: when we generate PDF to have the name of a specific field like "Invoice nr" instead the Table name with ID nr like it is right now.

it would also be a great time saver when ninox would be able to automatically save a generated and named pdf (e.g. "mustermann_2017_jan_10_Rechnung.pdf" in a container within ninox at the same time.

this is possible with related tables.
You find an example is the recipes template. Use the print function of single records.

I have just started using Ninox and I am becoming quite comfortable with it.

But the ability to print labels is extremely important to me and a significant limitation in Ninox at the moment.

In my other relational databases (primarily Helix RADE and FileMaker Pro) I can add a "portal" in which I can arrange fields as I please, and then have the portal display the linked records across and/or down the page.

Currently, in Ninox, the linked fields must be contained in a single row, which severely limits the display options.

So, please add "Labels" or "portals" to the list of enhancements for an upcoming upgrade to Ninox!

I need to print a form where many of the fields are choices. The print preview shows what I am guessing are internal codes. For example, a field that has "Empty", "Partial", and "Complete" as choices prints as just "U". How do you have it print the choice label (which I would have assumed would be the default)?

in print layout the value of a choice field is printed.
Please make sure that thw width of the field is sufficient to show the full text.

Hi There, I am trying to print records from a table that links to another table but the print preview does not show me the data returned from the fields. The main table is for order bookings and the link table is addresses. Is this possible?

this is a function of the print layout editor. If you click "Print PDF" all entries will be there.
