Email secure?

Are emails sent from database secure? Are sent emails located somewhere that can be referenced?

I know Ninox meets HIPPA requirements, so curious about the email and how secure it is. If not secure (encrypted) then would an app from Zappier be an option? Thank you!

Does anyone know the answer to this? We are in limbo regarding until we know if we can send out documents in a secure manner.
