Can’t access my Ninox account — no warning, no password reset working

Hi everyone,

I’ve suddenly lost access to my Ninox account and I have no idea why.
I’ve been using Ninox for years, I’m a paying user, and everything was working fine until recently.

Now I can’t log in, can’t reset my password, and I haven’t received any warning or email explaining what happened. I’m assuming my account was blocked or restricted, but I never got any notification.

I’ve already tried:

  • Resetting my password (no reset email arrives)

  • Logging in from another browser

  • Checking my subscription and payment status

Nothing works.

Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to recover access?
I use Ninox for all my business operations, so I really need to get back in as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

Someone reported the same thing on the German side about an hour ago.

This is something only Support can deal with. Since it is late in Germany, I don't know if you will receive an answer till tomorrow.

Several emails were sent and support did not take any action.

Just wanted to share an update:
I finally regained access to my Ninox account after reaching out to support.

However, this whole experience really makes me think — blocking access completely because of storage limits is not the right approach.
When users exceed storage, the system should simply prevent adding new records or uploads, not lock the user out entirely.

Our data is valuable — we depend on it for our operations. Losing access even temporarily is a huge risk and creates unnecessary stress.

I hope Ninox reconsiders this policy in the future. Limiting actions is understandable, but cutting access entirely is not.

I had an over the limit issue as well, but I never lost login. I reported it to them a few days before my account was disabled, that my backups suddenly doubled in size thus causing the problem. Looks like they finally fixed the issue.
