Deploying New Versions

I'm working on a database with a significant amount of custom scripting and will eventually deploy it into production, after which new features will be added over time and for sure there will be bugs to be fixed. ;)

Are there any Ninox features available now or planned for the future to make it easy to deploy new versions?  E.g. to modify table structures/scripts etc. whilst maintaining consistent data in a similar manner to migrations in Ruby on Rails?

Thanks,

Nick

    Hi Nick,

we have a feature planned to deploy new versions. Though I cannot say exactly when it will be implemented.

We can setup a screen sharing session to work out best practices for easy deploying. Please follow this link to schedule a meeting:

Hi is there any progress on this? This is a question for our project as well. Would be nice to be able to define outline versions and safely deploy/ rollback in a DTAP like setup.
