Conditional Formatting at a stretch using a Filter
Sometimes I miss the filter funnel in the header which throws me when I know there are more records than I see. Especially if the column being filtered is off to the right out of sight so to speak.
This got me thinking. I wonder if there is a way of using conditional formatting or some other method to alert the user to the fact that the total records being displayed is less than the total number of records.
That is to say - filtering 500 records to show only 100.
This is especially relevant when the user is the owner or admin which 'saves' the filter.
Hope this is clear :-).

Hi Alan,
If you did this within a form view then yes its possible with use of formula fields, but not within one of the table views as there is no way to programatically access any set filters.
I'd suggest making some forms with the view component that shows the data in a similar way to the table and this can be filtered based on other fields around it - you can completely control what is shown then (a new upcoming feature is the ability to edit fields inside subtables, so hopefully if this extends to views too then this will make the table views almost redundant!)
