With these options, some tasks become a bit faster ...

When you activate Edit Mode, you get direct access to various options to adjust your database or tables.

These options appear at the bottom in a dark blue bar.

In form view, you will find additional direct editing options at the bottom

Add Table

Besides the option through the tile in the Table Overview (1), you can also create a new table via + New Table (far left) (2).

In edit mode, you have two ways to create a new table

Edit Fields

When you are in the Form View of a record, you get additional options. Clicking Edit Fields takes you directly to the Table Settings.

Field

Here, you can directly add a field. The field will be added at the end of the current tab you are in.

With direct access, almost all field types are available for selection

Fields added this way will always appear at the end of the respective tab you are currently in.

Formula

A formula field is added. You are taken directly to the Formula Editor, where you can insert your script.

Layout Fields

Quick access to insert a heading, tab, view, line break, button, etc.

Link and Backlink

This allows you to directly insert a link to another table within the database.

Subtable

With this option, you can directly insert a subtable (composition) into the table. It will immediately appear on the left side under the corresponding table as a subtable.

To display the subtable, click the small downward arrow next to the corresponding table in the table view on the left.
