Best way to transfer multiple databases?
Hello,
Let me explain the situation. I , as director, have developed about 10 databases for a dance school into 3 different teams covering our needs to follow teacher employment, student enrollment and billing, auditioning process, touring, programing etc.
I shall be standing down from my position but will need to continue to be able to maintain Ninox just in case.
I am using the cloud-based version with most access via the Mac ninox app. All of it is using my Professional subscription as developper/admin with the other staffas added licenses to have access. Works perfectly.
What do you suggest I do when I leave? Do I download all databases, start a new subscription with the staff, upload it all back , then add myself as a paid subscriber in order to maintain, keep tweaking? Or is there a better way?

If you contact Ninox support direct (support@ninox.com) and tell them of your intended plan and they will allow you to transfer your subscription onto another key user at a point in time that suits. With all other staff repointed. That key user will become their main contact and will have have admin rights and control subs payment etc and all other staff should not be aware of any difference access as before. They can have direct web access and as long as you are added as an admin user you will still be able to support the group.
I did something very similar to this a couple of years back and Support were really good thought with the transfer (i thing on theonly main thing we had to do was move to a new workgroup but I stand to be corrected.....
It's in their interest to help you and to be fair it does not sound that onerous - In fact the group will be lucky that you are willing to continue to support them:-)
