Newbie question: Lag or delay in response to clicks/scrolling

This may be a very simple question: I'm finding that increasingly my database is lagging before responding to a click, or when I try to scroll down a view. Sometimes it takes ten seconds for a record to open after I've clicked on it in a table. I've updated to the latest version (3.3.2), and that didn't resolve it. The database is 3.8 MB. Is this so large as to cause processing delays? Is there something else that might be causing it? I'm on a Macbook, OS Catalina (10.15.7). Thanks in advance for any advice.

Just to double check, are you running the MacOS app and NOT the web version. I too was experiencing really slow responses, most noticebly on my dashboards. I'm running v3.3.1 (got burned on 3.3.0 so waiting just a bit on 3.3.2) and now things are better, it still takes about 8 seconds for the red wrench to appear on my most data heavy dashboard, takes about 5 seconds to select my troublesome dashboard. On a regular table the red wrench appears immediately and it switches over immediately as well.

I know that doesn't help you. I did not see the effect of 3.3.1 immediately, for some strange reason, it started slow and as I used it more (3 days) the speed improvements were more noticable.

Yes, I'm runnning the app, not the cloud version. Interesting that it's running slow for you as well (and somewhat comforting, as perhaps I'm not doing something so wrong!).

    Hi there -

Well I just got forced the v3.3.2 update and now I'm seeing long responses. I only see it on a particular table that has many formulas pulling data from other tables. My db is about 7MB so nothing to bog the system down with.

Kicking myself for not turning off auto update for apps.

I've opened a ticket with Ninox will let you know if I hear anything.

Would love to know what you found out from Ninox Customer Service as I too have this issue and was told they could not duplicate it and then ran into a wall because they kept asking for screenshots and then later video of the system doing nothing.

For me, the issue were too many select statements. Having you been adding lots of select statements lately? I have a sports DB so having lots of select statements to do stats is on par for the course. It is forcing me to rethink my DB design. Ninox says they know it is an issue, but I have no idea if they are working on it.
