Hide Multiple fields at once

Hi,

 

I know we can hide individual fields by going to Display field only, if & entering "null".

 

I have say 10 fields that I want to hide. For that to happen, I will need to go into the settings of each field and write null in the display only, if field. 

 

Is there a faster way of doing this?

 

I imagine there should be a checkbox somewhere or something similar but cant find it.

    Sadly there is no way to mass edit the Display only if or any field modifiers.

    If you really don't need the fields you can put them in a new tab then hide the tab.

    Hi Simon

    There is a neat trick, which I use on all of my forms. Create a tab, I call it Hidden, and set 'Display fields only if:' to false. Any objects place inside this tab will automatically be hidden as well.

      When you go to 'Edit fields' the tabs are listed along with the fields. Click on the one you want to hide, then under 'More options' is where you will find  'Display fields only if:' Enter the word 'false' to hide this tab.

    Not really any different but I use a choice combo box to switch between my fields

    ie my orders the form header stays the same (display if not set)

    then the choice switches every thing below the sub header as 2 examples below

    I put all my secret and test stuff on the tabs! and use a code unlock field to display!
