Text Field Formatting

Are there any plans to improve the formatting in text fields - colour, indenting, background, line spacing etc.? At the moment the rich text field seems sparse and clunky.

    For printing we advise not to usee rich text fields but (multiline) text fields. The print layout aditor allows for color, font type, background color, alignment...

    Is there a way to display a Rich Text field in a table cell?
