on click example please

sadly i can not find anything about the new on click trigger feature. 

can anyone post a quick script example for this feature.

    Working for: alert, dialog and closeRecord().

     

    I wanted to click on a formula field to drill down to a view in a differed tab but openTable("Table", "View") does nothing...

    Hi Nick, 

    I tried it now in the Mac App and in the browser and it worked well in both. Where are you working?

    Please make sure that have inserted the function in the option "On click" and not inadvertently in the function option itself.

    You're right. It works well, it was my mistake... I was trying to open a Tab not a View 🤓
