How to download a copy of your DB.
I'm posting this so others can reference it if users are unsure how to download a copy of their DB to post in the forum.
In the MacOS app:
- open the DB
- click on Table menu and select Export data
- click on Ninox (third option after CSV and Excel)
- click on Save as button
- select a location and a name the click on Save
If the data is safe (no personal information) then you can upload the DB to the forum.
Otherwise you will have import it to your MacOS app locally then make it a safe DB then follow steps 1 - 5 again.
In Public Cloud with Professional Level Subscription:
If the data is safe (no personal information) then you can jump to the Download section below.
Otherwise you can:
- click on Manage backups
- under Automated backups, select a backup time
- click on Restore backup
- open the restored DB and remove any personal information
- continue to the Download section
Download:
- click on the down arrow in the top right of your DB icon
- select Create backup
- click on Manage backups at the bottom of your workspace
- click on Manual backups
- click on backup you just made
- click on Download backup
The file will download to your downloads folder.
Now you can upload that file to the forum.
Hope this helps everyone.

If you have the Starter subscription level, you can use the MacOS app to download your DB. The MacOS app can download any level of subscription.
