Is there a way to output a PDF file with the contents of one RTF text field?

Ideally, one =would press a button and the contents of the RTF text field would be outputted to a PDF or WORD file and downloaded to the host.

IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Can this be done in JS?

    There must be a way to do this, right? 

    Also, there must be a way to provide functionality to NINOX through online services with a global function wrapper in NINOX. Has anyone done this?

    That would be a great temporary solution to the printing shortfalls discussed herein. 

    Having a call that would send the RTF field contents and which returns a PDF as a download. 

    Or, if given a destination field, puts the PDF directly into the destination field.
