Reminders in Ninox

Hello friends, I am planning to write a personal bills management app. I wanted to ask whether is it possible to set/create app reminders in Ninox that customers can choose to flash a few days before the bill due date.

One way is to use the Trigger on open in the DB option section. So every time they open the DB, it shows them a reminder. There is no time triggers in Ninox.

    Thank you

I was just hoping that if I have the Ninox app on my phone, I will get the reminder on the phone as the db will be on the phone as well.

If you want to receive notifications on your phone, you can use a program like chanify.

    see this tread : https://forum.ninox.com/t/g9hcxpc/chanify

I have a timed script that runs at 6am every morning, using Zapier. It's super simple to set up, which I outlined here. It works like a charm.

       Hi John

At the moment, I use the login to sweep the tables and send myself an email if x conditions are true. but I could with sexing this up a bit.

Followed your link but wonder if there is a free - trial version of Zappier etc so i can test. (following your excellent example of course !) I noted the comment from @s.moores  re docker/virtual servers etc but that only made my hear hurt 🤣

Hi Mel. I am using a free version of Zapier, which is OK for my needs right now. I have an In/Out board for staff arriving and leaving the building. I have a zap that runs at 6am to re-set this (those that forgot to log out the night before) and another at 9am for staff who haven't arrived yet. In both cases I receive an email. Our Ninox quality system runs a zap to see if any of our suppliers' BRC certificates have gone out of date and, again, sends me an email if they have. I'm allowed 100 triggers and 5 Zaps with the free account, so just within my limit.

      Have fun!

      Regards John

Hi John - Thank you for the insight. I will take a look. i guess the limit you have is per month? I don't mind paying for it if i can be of value- but having a freeibe for a while really helps.
