Global Functions

Can anyone point me in the direction of some good examples of Global Functions? I haven't been able to find much on the forum.

    Whatever formula you can think of can be wrapped in a user-defined function. There are some limitations on the data types you can pass as arguments and you can't pass arrays.

    Is there an existing function to "get table name" or "get field name"?
