Select and where is faster than just select
Over on the German side, Uwe dropped this nugget of knowledge.
Why the first 'select' the clause 'where'?
A select with a where clause is always processed faster in Ninox than a pure 'select'.
So
select TableName where Nr (or Id)
is faster than
select TableName
Even though it does the same thing.

Thanks , this is valuable info!

Please note that I could not validate the findings of Uwe in my own tests. The benefit of the select where is not tied to "where Nr" but much more to the filtering done on the server side, before the records are sent to the client.
My post about this is in the linked thread from in the German forum.
