NINOX upgrade question - is it worth it?

I am using version 3.8.11 in a private cloud.

Three questions:

is the latest version faster? Same overall processing speed?

There was chatter about the "select" function being slower. Is this true?

Will I need to recode anything moving to the latest version from 3.8.11?

Is it worth it?

PS: I am very happy with 3.8.11 but I fear falling too far behind in the upgrade path.

I would think this new function would be a game changer.

    do as database

Also, is autofill of commands after 3.8?

    createXLSX?

    Here is the complete list.

Thanks. I understand your point - great new functions/features. I appreciate this and many look intriguing.

However, I have a very large application and it's working well for me as it is.

Would like to upgrade as long as it does not require any substantial recoding.

Will it run my application faster?

I didn't experience any need for coding changes. I don't think they depreciated anything. Well at least I can't remember. I use the public cloud so I no choice but to keep up. You should ask Ninox about that.

I don't know if your DB will run faster.

      Good luck with your decision.
