PDF with carbone and OCR-recognition
Hi I have used Carbone to create a fillable PDF created from Ninox. You can add values to it and then send it back. (email?). If the PDF is saved in an image field of the corresponding record, the answer data can be assigned to the corresponding fields via a button using OCR. This allows you to create a kind of input form outside Ninox.
This and other examples can be found in the team 'Webinar EN 2022' in '343_Print-Engine Carbone_110222'.
The free versions of https://carbone.io and https://mindee.com were used as additional programmes.
All the examples listed in the Carbone DB can also be run for testing purposes without having your own account with the additional programmes. However, OCR recognition works better if there is no watermark on the PDF.
Enclosed is a screenshot of the PDF created with carbone.
