Dynamic choice display on iPhone app

Dynamic choice on iPhone app displays numeric values instead of what I would like to see. I have used record() to display the info I want on the OSX app, and web app, but iPhone app displays numbers, which makes it hard to use. I wanted a phone to be the input device for doing inventory.

Is there a workaround to things displayed the way I want in an iPhone using dynamic choices?

 

This was my first time trying to use dynamic choices. Mostly an exercise to see how they are used.

    iPad app is fine

     

    it only seems to be a problem on iPhone app
