Issue to drag and drop columns of a 2 relational tables

Hi

Having created a relation between 2 tables in a base I go to "modify" (gear tool) and I try to drag a column from the right window (available columns) to the left window (visible columns) but it is not possible because it is a group with 4 columns inside :

Total -first -last -concatenate

So I drag each one of this columns,  that works : they are displayed on the left window but when I open the dashboard they are empty.

Could someone help me ?

Thank you

Thats odd. Are you sure that there are there are linked records between Vierge 62 and Table oiseau une fois? From the second screenshot it looks like there are any. Can you send screenshot of the link between those two tables?

It is not "Vierge 62" but "Vierge 6"

    but they are the same…

    It looks like this:

You will find it in every record in the table Table oiseau une fois. In those records we have seen in your table overview, they will be probably all empty. Thats why the count (Totale de Colonne 18) is 0.

How do you open this dashboard "expordaten"

I'm sorry. That is just an example from my Database, so the names have no importance . In your case it would be in the Table oiseau une fois then click on a record and somewhere in the record there must be the link where the record is connected to Vierge 6 ( or Vierge 62).

I think the records (at least the once I see on your dashboard) are not connected to records of the table Vierge 6. Thats why they are empty. In order to see something in your overview (Totale de Colonne 18, Premier de Colonne 18 and so on) a record of the table Vierge 6 has to be linked with a record of Table oiseau une fois.

    Well.

    I change my link.

    Things have changed.

But Now a strange thing !

A few new names of views are displayed in my dashboard "oiseaux familles genre espèces"

They all are named "all" and, good new : the link has well been acting : my linked column is displayed !

But there is only one column, not the four : (Total -first -last -concatenate) and its name is the name in my other table called "other name" in "Vierge 6" !

In this table "Vierge 6" there is also few new columns called "all"

And in one of them there is this column "other name", the good name.

Sorry that is a bit complicated but if you can clarify that for me, that will be nice.

Ok. I think i start to understand the general structure. From the table "Oiseaux familles genre" you must have two connections to the table Vierge 6: one called Vierge 6 (N:1 connection) and the other called Vierge 62 (1:N connection).

In the first two screenshots you showed the connection from "Oiseaux familles genre" to "Vierge 6" (connection called "Vierge 62"). 1:N means that one record in your table "Oiseaux familles genre" can be linked with several records from your table "Vierge 62". Therefore, in this situation, in order to display data from "Vierge 62" in the table "Oiseaux familles genre" you have to chose some form of aggregation for the concected records, hence the four possibilities (total, first, last, concat).

In the second last screenshot, however you probably used the N:1 connection to the table "Vierge 6". That means that every record of your table "Oiseaux familles genre" can be linked with just one record from "Vierge 62". In this case no aggregation is needed to display your data, as the result is always just one linked record.

I would check if you really need the two connections between the two tables, as the "Vierge 62" appears to be empty anyways and i don't really see any benefit or use for that connection.
