Problem with image fields

When I click on an uploaded image a fresh tab opens in the browser, then hangs, then closes again. Any idea what the problem is?

David.. what operating system are you using? Sounds like the default viewer for the image type is set to your browser. On my Mac OS/X box.. the default viewer for a JPG is the Preview app.. so double clicking on an image opens that in preview.

Windows 7 is the OS.

I think it's a browser issue - works in in Firefox, not in Opera.
