Icons Color

Silly question maybe, but I haven't found any previous thread about this:

is it possible to change the color of an icon?

if I use the formula a icon("trash") the icon shows a blue trashcan. I would like to have it in red.

I tried the styled function combined with the icon function, but I seem to be able to only style the text and the background, which is already possible with the field style options,

    Don't think that's possible. There's even not a unicode trashcan in red. Only thing I can think of is to place a picture/clipart of a red trashcan in a imagefield and refer to that picture in a formula field...

      RoSoft_Steven thank you. I thought about the same solution after a few tryouts. Would be nice to be able to use something like font awesome, though :)
