Linking records via Make.com

Dear Ninox-Community,

I have an issue when using Make.com for which I am seeking your support.

I´ve set up several scenarios, in which I use the "Create Record" module in Make.com. In some of the scenarios I would like to link an existing record to the newly created record.

Even though I put the record ID of the existing record in the Ninox module as a static number, it has no effect. When I check the newly created record in Ninox, linking the records doesn´t work and the record field just stays empty. However, Make.com throws no error and even in the output of the module I can see that the record id was submitted.

This error only seems to occur, when I have a static value for the record id, which I would like to link. If I instead use a variable for the record id, for example from a previous module which creates a record in Ninox, the error doesn´t occur.

Can anyone please help me to fix that?

    Hi

I have tried what I understand to be your issue and it seems to work for me:

The client is a field which links the message to a particular client and in this case attaches it to client ID 1.

I must me misunderstanding - could you clarify?

      Hello  ,

thanks a lot for helping me!

I tried it the same way. For some linked tables I can link the record, for some other tables I can not.
Even though the value gets properly submitted from make.com (I can see that in the output), the record will not get linked in Ninox.

I also checked if there are any specific field or permission restrictions in the linked tables, but I can´t find anything that could prevent it from working.

Not sure about this then - there must be a difference between the setup of those tables/fields which work and those that don't! One thing that occurs to me is whether there are any constraints which could be causing the issue?

I had the same thought and checked it, but I can't find any differences to the fields that work. It´s a strange phenomenon. I will contact the Ninox Support and check, if they can help me to figure out what's causing this.
