Managing a database
Is there a form I can place on a website that will allow users of the website to search the database for information about a member? If yes, are the individuals using the website considered collaborators ?

You could also share a view as html and place the link in a webpage or share the link in a mail... if that helps
or you can create your own webpage where you fetch the shared json information in a searchable table...
