What is the max number of characters that a text field can be defined to hold?

I am using Ninox stand alone - no need to sync to the cloud for my purposes. I have a d=table that includes a text field, but have found I cannot add as much as I had hoped to - is there a maximum number o characters a text fir=eld can be defined to contain? In the parameters under "Edit fields" I entered 10,000 as a maximum - there was no error message or indication that would be a problem - but after copy and pasting multiple paragraphs into that field, even though everything did seem to be recorded, after quitting and restarting Ninox it cut off the text field at some point, after about 6900 characters (including spaces)

There is the multi line text field as well that can hold more. You can also try out the rich text field. The text field is not meant to hold multi line data.

Thank you for your reply. As it turns out, I had used the multi line text field for the one that was becoming "overfilled".

So I added a new multi line text field (just naming it "additional notes") and I'm good to go, it seems. So I guess that tells me that t multi line text field has an upper limit of about 7000 characters...

      Thank you again!
