Pet database

A few weeks ago, I just wanted to put together a simple food calculator for my dog. What I ended up with is a system that can do a lot more. With a little goodwill, you could call it an early alpha version. I didn’t put much effort into a good UI design. Everything was created based on the needs I had at the moment—whether I wanted to enter something or needed some information. So it’s a bit chaotic.

Maybe someone will find it interesting.

    Another version in which a number of changes have been made, and which has been expanded and adapted.

    I'd like to be able to retrieve the weather data for the activity log by clicking a button. Has anyone done something like this with Ninox before?

      Two functions are primarily used: http and formatJSON.

      var _url := "https://api.weatherapi.com/v1/current.json?q=" + LOCATION + "&key=" + API_Key;
      var _response := http("GET", _url);
      var _response_json := formatJSON(_response.result);

       Maybe the reason is the second line of the code:

      var _response := do as server http("GET", _url) end;

      Thank you. What is the technical difference?

      Well, it has to do something with CORS : https://forum.ninox.com/t/y4yz1l4/scripting

    Another version. If anyone feels like it, I'd love to hear your suggestions.

    And yet another new version. I've tried out a lot of things—some I've discarded, others I'm still using. The system works for me, even though it's still a work in progress. Maybe you'd be interested in how I solved one thing or another. I've started adding support for color palettes, I've tried to implement multilingual support, and I've done a few other experiments as well.

    And yes, there is a token included in the configuration. Of course, I've changed it now.

    Any way to have the app appear in English?  I tried selecting English in Settings but opening the Dashboard showed no English.

       It can't be fully translated yet—at least not the way I've set it up. There's a global function called `getTranslation()` that I'm currently using for this, but it requires that all the text be computable. So it's quite a labor-intensive task. Right now, there are only a few places where the function is used.

      The structure of the data in the "Übersetzungen" table is also still very simple.

      Unfortunately, I don't know how to collaborate on the database; otherwise, I would have loved to invite you to join me.

       I'll see if I can release a new version today.

      I need a function that clears the database and leaves only the necessary records.
