Global Search not working... what could be the reason?

I have Global search enabled on both the table and fields of a database.

Yet when i conduct searches, i find nothing.

Search works fine on other databases i have, but not this one (which has only one table).

Maybe i've overlooked something simple. But what might this be?

    Check that the particular field that you are searching on is added to the table view
