Aligning Line Item descriptions
Hello everyone.
I am creating a Print Form for our invoices.
When adding line items, the description is always centered. How can I have the description left aligned>
The way it is now it's not looking nice. But I just can't figure out how to do.

Hello Bernd,
as far as I know the alignment has something to do whether it is a textfield or number filed etc., but I am not quite sure.
The way I would resolve this issue isor rather said how I did it is by adding text fields and customized each.
Furthermore you can then align the text left middle or right or just change the padding.
hope it helps

Ninox's print layout lacks many controls and is not really a forms designer....
Another way you can have a bit of control is to turn off the header on the grid and apply a text box at the head which you can style for postion/text size and colour etc
Thus you can space any lettering to suit you....
of course this is yet another work around but .... that is what we have to do at times!
so this ..
becomes this

Thank you both for your helpful suggestion. Turning off the header and add text boxes is a great idea.
Thanks again.

Mel, how do you carry over the text boxes you use as a header of the line items, to a second page. If I have lots if line items, a 2nd page is created but I will miss the text boxed and hence no header anymore.
May I assume you just add those to the header of the page?

Bernd - Yes that is what I do ....which suits all my purposes
