How to delete what must be a corrupt table?

I have a database with what must be a corrupt table. When I click the table to open it, the loading icon continues ad infinitum. Because the table will not load (all options under the Table menu remain greyed out), I cannot select the "Delete Table" option. How can I purge tables from my database when the table will not load?
