How do you know when your software (MAC) is updated?

Hello,

I used to see (rarely) something saying my app was updated (or being updated), but how do I check?  There is no about or version number in the app (MAC version).  Thanks! I tried to find the answe ont he site and didn't.

For Ninox not to have the ability to show the version number in the app is very sloppy.

The only way to know if you are running the current version is to open the App Store and see if your version needs to be updated. If not then you are running the version that is listed.

Hello and thanks!  Well sloppy is bit much, but I know I can't find where it is if it's in the app somewhere. However, I had forgotten that with everything automatically update via the App Store I need to just not worry about it and look there, so thanks for the reminder.

Old issue, but not invalid. https://ninox.com/en/forum/technical-help-5ab8fe445fe2b42b7dd39ee7/ninox-version-number-5b58b77f80e48878986b3ebd

The suggestion in that thread works, but seriously? I would like to add that you can't rely on the App Store's tab "Updates" to give reliable results. Search for Ninox in the app and click on it (don't choose "Open") and that will let you know if a new version is available.

In Finder, select Ninox in the applications folder. Command-I will show you the current version number along with a lot of other information.
