Products by date

I'm struggling to make a very simple stuff, I think... Hope someone can help me.. I made a table with my products (product name, price, category) and I need to have another table with the products sold day by day. I've put a date and I tried a link to, a link from, a subtables... but nothing works fine for me... I need to have: today i've sold 200 shirts, 100 pants. Tomorrow: 50 shirts, 50 shoes and so on. Thanks in advance.

You can click on column headers and choose to sort, group, etc. Just make sure to have the Tool button selected on the right, and when you are finished making changes, click the Tool again to save your changes, so they will persist across sessions (if that is what you want).

Thank you Dean for your answer. This could work only if I put a date and all my items in a single table but in this case is very hard for me to add and remove items. I'm triing to have products list in a table and the daily sells in another but in this way I can't add quantity. Maybe is just not possible or I'm thinking wrong about table connections.

Maybe it's a good idea to explore the build-in Invoices template. There you have a products table, customers and sales.

Instead of using customers, you can use a date instead to get what you want.
