Choice box text displayed in Invoice

Hi! I have a choice box called Gigs.Currency where I can select the currency the product of a quote. How can I have it display the text from the box on my invoice? I've tried {text(Gigs.Currency)} etc. with no success. Thanks!

    If it is a choice object.. Should just be 'Gigs.Currency' ...   See the invoices sample database .. and look at the Status box.. Same / Same??

    Still not working. Even when clicking it in the visual mode. :/

    If the currency comes from the same table just {Currency} should be working.
