How do I change the background color of a table/form?
Hello. It's been requested that I change the background color of the tables the employees work in to a dark gray. The pure white is harsh on their eyes, but I cannot find a way to do this. I do see I can change it before you enter the data base, and I can change it where it shows all the tables, but I need to change it at the table level. How can I do this?
Thank you!

You can add "Tab" elements to the form. These can have background colors.
There ist nothing yet for table views.

Hi Birger.
Well... what (exactly) do you do with the "tab" element, afterwards? Can you populate it with fields? Other elements?
I'm a newbie and feel I'm missing some very basic info here... The user manual is useless in this case, because a search with keywird "tab" returns all the occurences of the word "table"!!!
Thanks.

Hi Jeremy
Add your tab (rename it to whatever) - double click on the tab! (when veiwing the form in edit mode)
there you can can set the form colour too.
then drag your fields onto the tab from first tab page onto the new pageHey presto the form starts to populate.
you can also do this via the edit form by moving the filed to under the tab name - or sliding the tab name up.
beware with this method as you can temp screw your layout as the underlying fields to not move with the tab name aas you move it!
However you will soon get the hang of it.
another thing you can do is say create a table called test
add a few fields then add a new tab (lets call it Test99)
so you will have a form with default pages in white background - which you cannot change
and a tab page with you can chnage the colour
in edit page mode. drah the tab right up to the top!
save
and go back in there is now only one tab and it has your fields on and in glorious color
be aware you can't reverse this tho. once that system default page is gone - i think it is really gone

sorry - you can get the default back
just drag the new tab back down the list in field edit mode

also Tabs are on page 51 in the manual
