Buttons in Tables View (Ansicht) needed

I need to have the possibility to have few buttons in the view of tables, because i want to have a list of different Students and then have a button for each day and if i press a button, it creates a record linked to the student. Also necessary i also need then to select which Time he is participating. Like 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Study-Unit. Maybe this can work with a modal, where i can select the Units via a multi-selection box and from this selection the proper function gets executed.

I want to save my time because right now, i am having for each day a button and then create a record, which already selected the date but then i still need to look for the student in the link-field and then also need to select the units which he is participating.

Are you trying to do this within the same table? If so then I would recommend that you try using a dashboard. It may seem like you are duplicating work, but once you get the work flow correct then it will save you time.

It sounds like you are encountering the issue of trying to work within the same table you are trying to script. You need to pull data from other sources, but now you have a display issue of this new data source and now this data resides in each record of the table.

Where in a dashboard, you can pull data from different tables and at a click of a button then create/modify as many records in as many tables as you need.

Very pretty. I could never make anything this nice. I try and it comes out a big mess.

It would be easier for us if can you post a sample DB, making sure to remove all personal data? Or you can share a workspace with me with a sample DB.

Thanks for the compliment! I will need to prepare it and then share it.

    Hey

    Take a look here: https://www.arc-rider.de/documentation/custom-table-mit-mini-widgets

We have developed widgets for Ninox that help you customize user interfaces. Among other things, a custom table in which you can integrate a variety of actions. Such as buttons that create records or dropdowns to select employees or embed progress bars... If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
