Photo preview but no import

Hi,
I'd like to use Ninox for a project that involves many photos. Would it be possible to just refer to an image, and let Ninox generate a preview image but not import the image to reduce the size of the database?

I know one can use links to images and display them via HTML, but is it possible to automatically generate previews?

Additionally, is it possible to let Ninox display local images as HTML? I managed to do it with photos stored online and locally within the Ninox database but not with images on an external hard drive or my Desktop. I read that some browsers restrict access to local files and wondered if Ninox has the same restrictions. Is there a way to avoid that?
