More in-depth instructions (or video) on Ninox Private Cloud on Premise install

Is anyone able to provide detailed instructions, or a video on how to install on premise?

I have Windows 10 and got as far as running the installer exe and downloaded my ninox.license.

What do I do now?

Thanks!!

S Moore, are you really saying that you've had your license for a year and you have not contacted support for help to get it set up?

    Sean,

Your response is a bit of speculation, don't you think? I believe I posted in the technical help forum and your reply is not providing assistance.

If you must know, I signed up for a trial. When I installed the application on Windows Server 2016, on port 8080 localhost, I am greeted with an email and password login, but not sure what to use?

I also have no idea where to upload my ninox.license. I shouldn't have to contact support, the manual is very lacking.

    S Moore,

Yes, well spotted. It is a speculative question based on the information you provided in your posts. Thank you for answering that question.

As for providing assistance, anyone with a Ninox account can go to the "Webinar EN 2021" team and find the "Ninox Forum - EN" database and search based on member to see who has provided assistance vs who has requested assistance.

It is certainly your perogative to rely on the forum for answers to all of your Ninox related questions. If I may be so bold, perhaps you could contact support and get the answer to this question and then share it with the other forum members.

Isn't it frustatring when you can get on with the task you want to ?

You may not be aware that all posts to the forum fro about the last year or so are no longer being monitored/replied to by Ninox. I too a few years back thought that by posting into teccy help I was somehow getting a direct line to Ninox support! Sadly this is not the case and even more so Ninox's stance on the manual is basicially it is aimed at a get you started! After that there is a big gap! - (not great :-(

Sean has posted many times that we (ordinary users ) will do our very best to help anyone where we can but in fairess we need some info to try and provide that help.

I stand to be corrected but I'm not aware that Ninox allows you to trial a private cloud/premises install - thus I think you probably have no option but to contact support on ninox.support.com.

What would be great is if you could let us know how you get on

    kind regards

    Mel
