Form view

I created a form view for the details of a specific item. As i select a specific item in the invoice database and want to change my view from "all" tot the selected record, i don't see the selected record but the previously selected in the form view. Is it possible to see the selected record ?

    this should be the standard.

    Could you provide us more info or a screenshot?
