Picking just customer name from table

Hi 

I've created a Customer table, that contains fields for name, address and telephone number. I have another table, which is used for work done. What I'm trying to do is not have to keep typing the name of each regular customer but rather pick them from my Customer table. However, after creating a link to the Customer table, whenever I pick a customer I get all info brought across when all I want to see is just the name.

Please can I be shown the correct method of doing this. Thanks

    1) Go to the work done table.
    2) Activate the administration mode (click on the wrench in the upper right area and make it be red).
    3) Mark the linked table (customer) red

    4) Click on the centered red wrench symbol on the linked table field

    5) Click "Show as"
    6) Click the field NAME frome the menue on the left
    7) Save the changings

    Now, only the name of the customer should be seen in the linked table field
