Lock color field on iphone

I am trying to lock a color field - it works on the web browser, but on the iphone the user can always change the color

I have set criteria in WritableIf and set the WritableBy to admin - and a user in an unprivilleged group can still change the color on the iphone

    found a workaround - hide the color field and display it in a formula
