Multiple choice field
Hello everyone, I have a small silly question: I'm using a multiple choice field, which has many many many records to choose from and I wanted to ask if there is a way (in the multiple choice field or using a formula) to only show the chosen records and not all of them!!!!! Thank you!!!

Say - you have a multi choice field that shows 6 selectable choices and you choose say 4 of them. then you want only the 4 selected to show on the form/view and the other 2 that were not selected to not show?
is that that you want ?

The multi choice itself I don't think can be manipulated and there are no direct options to limit itself to only those selected criteria.
I have half an idea that you possibly use a formula field set to list all the selection items and use this for display purposes with a display attribute to shoe if not empty and equally not display the original choice control but i guessing there must be a more elegant way to do this.
will have a look at when I get a chance but work busy at the moment

Question, what happens if you you need to change the selection to one that was not previously selected? It seems like you need a display field like Mel Charles is suggesting.
