Can the owner of a Team invite anyone to join the team?

Do non-subscribers who accept an invite automatically receive a trial subscription? If so, how long does the trial subscription run? Is it the same as the standard Ninox trial subscription?

In my experience... I needed to upgrade my plan to support additional users in order to continue to share access to the Ninox Cloud hosted database.

It appears to allow temporary access. I could be wrong. Maybe it is meant to work that way? A smart social networking approach to marketing; allowing you to invite all your friends to try it. I will test some more.

I posted this answer I received from support:

" If a user is invited into a team (he is not the owner of it) he does not need a subscription, as long as he is covered by the subscription of the owner of the team.
If he has an own subscription, the team owner does not need to cover him by his subscription.

A user needs a subscription if he has (a) own team(s)."

    >as long as he is covered by the subscription of the owner of the team<

Not sure what that means. Can anyone give an example?

In my case I purchased subscriptions for everyone in my office. Each subscription is tied to the user's email address. How would I buy subscriptions for others that are not tied to an email address? It seems like I can invite anyone else and they receive what appears to be a free 30 day trial license. I agree, that seems like a "smart social networking approach to marketing".

How can a developer of a Ninox solution allow visitors of their website to try a trial version of their solution on their own? Is anyone doing this now?

It means that the owner own the subscription and can send invitation to other member to access and modify databases placed in that team without having (them) to subscribe. As long as the subscription is renew by the owner, everybody invited can use that team.

If some member wants then create others teams they have to subscribe.

If I have a subscription on iPad, how do I invite others as members?  Via email?  The other member will also need to be on the IOS platform?

Or, the description here refers to normal subscription outside of the IOS ecosystem?

Or, if I were to share the information/databases, I will need to go for the other subscription option at $8.33/month?
