Scripting 'On Click'

Local database, sync over Icoud to Ipad and Iphone. This concerns a formula field. After modifying a script, the previous script is still executed after saving. The new script only becomes active once I have synchronized (Cloud icon). Is this an error, or can I execute this in a better way?

    As I understand it, with the app you can only edit your db on 1 device at a time. If you want to change the device that can edit the app then you need to “synchronize” it on the device that you want to be the editor. 

     Are you saying that a change doesn’t get pushed to the non-editing device unless you “synchronize”? Was the DB open on the non-editor device? Did you try closing the DB on the non-editor then reopen to see if the changes sync?
